Research On The Safety Management Of Student Dormitoryin Colleges And Universities

With the enrollment scale continues to expand, the number of students dormitory accommodation is rising. Therefore, security issues related to student accommodation increases. The events that affect students’ security of the body and property in the area of dormitory have increased recently. Only through the scientific safety management can we reduce such events. Dormitory is not only the main place for college students to learn and live, but also the key place of school safety management. The student dormitory is directly related to the safety of the security and stability of the normal order of the vital interests of students, the campus of the University and the school. Therefore, it’s vital for us to reflect on and improve the safety management of student hostels.This paper collected college student dormitory safety management related policies, regulations and other documents, and take S University as a case, through field research and literature analysis. It starts from the student dormitory fire safety and security in two areas, according to the research on four aspects of the dormitory safety facilities, safety system, safety education and emergency disposal. It provides some beneficial reference and enlightenment for the safety management of the college student dormitory.First of all, this paper supplies objective description on the S university student dormitory safety facilities planning, configuration and maintenance, development and implementation of safety management system, implementation and evaluation of safety education, the establishment and implementation of emergency plansetc.Secondly, it reveals the existence of the current university student dormitory safety management problems through the collection of student dormitory security aspects of the case, comparing and analyzing. It includes: Student dormitory facilities lack fire safety planning, and fire safety facilities configuration is not in place, and also lack of fire emergency lighting and maintain effective evacuation indicating system. Fire safety system is not perfect and the implementation of strict fire safety education; the lack of class, the theory of safety education means obsolete, lack of practice in fire training coverage, the effect of safety education for evaluation; security facilities insufficiency, lack of maintenance. Our establishing security system stays at the experience stage and we lack pertinence; At the same, our public security education method is single, land effective plan is not enough; The emergency prevention system has been lacking communication, lacking emergency drills and poor in information communication and the emergency disposal.Finally, according to the existing college student dormitory safety management problems, I’d like to put forward the following countermeasures: improve the safety facilities planning, increase the safety facilities, strengthen the maintenance of safety facilities; To perfect the related system of students dormitory safety management; realize safety education in the normalization process, diversity of content, mode of practice, increase the education evaluation; strengthen early awareness of emergency, emergency plan of its own characteristics, strengthen the information communication and emergency disposal process, establish the security point of contact.
