Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Student Safety Management In Private Colleges And Universities In Xi'an

The problem of safety management of college students has been one of the most important issues in the field of education management.With the development of private education,private colleges play an important role in China's higher education,but the safety of private college students has become increasingly prominent.In order to make private college students in healthy and stable living and learning environment,so that private colleges can cultivate both physical and mental healthy students as useful talents to promote the development of education,the author gathers the information from three private colleges in Xi'an Sample schools to investigate the students safety management issues.Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign students' safety management researches,this paper expounds the research background and research significance,and defines the related concepts of safety management of Xi'an private college students.This paper investigates,analyzes and summarizes the current situation of students'personal safety and property management through field investigation,questionnaires,interviews,and literature materials,which is of great significance in promoting the development of students' physical and mental health and the development of private education.Through the investigation and study on the students safety management in private colleges in Xi'an,this study finds that private colleges have made some achievements in the safety management of students in the past 30 years,and the students' safety management has also received some attention.There are still some problems that can not be ignored:First,private college students have their own characteristics,which makes it difficult to cope with the student safety management work than in the public institutions.Second,due to the short history of private college and limited experience,school leaders in the concept of student safety management are more traditional.Third,the nature of private colleges has its own limitations on school construction and investment,and there is no enough advanced material equipment and modern education information technology for security management.Fourth,as private colleges are generally located in the suburbs,the special campus surroundings bring more security difficulties.Fifth,the relevant departments of the government and education do not pay much attention to private colleges,and the support is limited,so that private college leaders helpless in some ways.In order to improve the management ability,the author gives the suggestions to the private colleges in Xi'an from three aspects:the concept of running schools,the management system and the safeguard mechanism.On the aspect of running a school,the leaders have to change their concepts,and pay more attention to the effectiveness of management,not only to establish a correct view of the leadership,but also pay attention to cultivating students' safety awareness,legal awareness and moral awareness,so that teachers and students can develop a sense of crisis;On the aspect of the management system,the leaders should strengthen the management team to provide students with a variety of services,not only the use of modern educational technology information for student safety management,but also the joint management of other forces of society;On the aspect of security mechanism,the school logistics ought to improve students' dormitory facilities,strengthen the student cafeteria health environment and food safety management,and renovate the inside and outside campus environment to provide all the students and staff a safe,warm and comfortable campus environment.In this study,the author's innovation lies in the combination of reality and the current social problems related to student safety,to find out the reasons why the students safety management problems can not be resolved in Xi'an private colleges,and then give the recommendations:the management and the implementation should not only update the concept,advancing with the times,but also increase financial investment to update material equipment,and use high-tech electronic equipment to manage student safety issues,so as to improve management level.
