It is true that having a good writing has always been deemed as crucial. The importance of writing is stressed not only by the fact that it is a means of expression and communication of ideas but also by the fact that learning writing is one of the most significant ways to foster language proficiency. However, some crucial concerns regarding education of writing in middle schools have been raised nowadays.This article helps to construe where the difficulty of learning writing underlies through current situation. Meanwhile, to fulfill the purpose of improving efficiency and level of junior high school composition teaching, it constructs a better order of practicing writing based on the process of developing the writing skills of middle-school students.The order of improving writing skills of middle-school students is presented by three sections in the followings:The first section is introduction, which comprises the descriptions of research on the order of improvements of middle-school students’ writing skills, including its origins, purposes, meanings and methods.The second section is the main part, which includes the followings:1) The analysis of underlying problems of teachings in middle-school-level writing is presented, according to the recently conducted survey about current conditions in writings to middle-school students and teachers teaching Chinese in the school where I am having a job, reaching a conclusion that it is necessary to construct a training sequence of junior high school composition.2) The basis of constructing “Ability Level” training sequence of junior high school composition would be stated. The research situation of internal and external composition training sequence would be under discussion, learning the relatively successful experience from them as a doctrinal basis for managing to construct “Ability Level” training sequence of middle-school composition and analyzing its feasibility.3) The construction of middle-school composition “Ability Level” training sequence: Specific objectives, implementing of the principle and scheme of it would be demonstrated.4) The optimization measures, required by implementing the process of middle-school composition “Ability Level” training sequence, would be demonstrated, including promoting the improvement of writing ability by experience mode, temp writing foundation by daily accumulation, improving writing level by optimization training evaluation and so on.The third part would be a conclusion, which mainly demonstrates the results and demerits of this research. The future research directions would also be proposed.This article is a junior exploration of composition “Ability level” training sequence. Hopefully, this research could provide the front line of Chinese teachers a new practical value way of composition training, letting students experience the joy of writing in the future composition training and promoting the improvement of Chinese literacy, which may lay a good foundation for future academic work, career and life.
