Classroom teaching language is a master key to open students’ heart, whose quality has an important influence on the teaching effect. At the same time, good teaching language can stimulate students’ interest in learning, cultivate students’ ability of autonomous learning, and make students form correct outlook on life and values. For ideological and political lesson in junior middle school is strongly theoretical and abstract even a little boring, it require us to have good language skills so as to impart knowledge and cultivate students’ good moral character. A political teacher should teach knowledge and cultivate students’ personality and moral character. So they should not only pay attention to the form but also the content of the teaching language, which should be induced, orderly, interesting, rhythmical and lively in form and concrete, authentic, refined, novel and logical in content.Makarenko said: “Because of the teaching language, the effects of the same teaching method may differentiate from each other as much as 20 times.” Thus we can see that the teaching language has a unique role and charm. For the ideological and political lesson in junior middle school is strongly theoretical and abstract even a little boring, teachers who want to make the class full of charm, must try to form their own language style and creatively use teaching language. “If you want to teach well, you should say well.” Then make most of special characters of the teaching language in the ideological and political lesson.However, there are many problems in the teaching language in the ideological and political lesson in junior middle school today. For example, some expressions are too casual, repetitive, and disordered. These problems seriously influence the students’ interest in learning, affect the quality of classroom teaching and are unfavorable to the improvement of teachers’ teaching. Research on it is badly in need.This paper has four parts. The introduction part of the research does a brief summary on the background and a simple introduction on the research results at home and abroad in the field of language teaching, and briefly introduces the research methods and innovations of this research. In the first chapter, from four aspects, the importance, the concept, the characteristics and types, the definition and the connotation of the teaching language are illustrated. In the second chapter, the paper discusses the problems existing in the ideological and political lesson in junior middle school and analyzed causes for them. In the third chapter, the paper puts forward some concrete strategies on how to standardize the teaching language in the ideological and political lesson in junior middle school.
