Teachers, "so preaching impart knowledge and solve doubts". The role of teachers is to teach the students the knowledge of the people. The political teacher’s role is to impart knowledge, ideology and politics to students, improve students’ Ideological and political quality, help them establish a correct outlook on life, world outlook, values, and promote the healthy growth of the students, cultivate all-round development of people. Since entering in twenty-first Century, in the face of the rapid development of market economy, as well as a large number of new requirements for talents, the reform of China’s education system, teachers’ role orientation has also undergone important changes. In this context, the role of teachers and students to explore the transformation of the mode of Ideological and political teaching in middle schools, and puts forward the corresponding constructive suggestions, is of positive significance in two aspects. On the one hand, from the point of view of students, to guide students to better political study, promote better growth has certain positive significance. On the other hand, for the middle school teachers better political teaching has a great help.This paper is divided into five parts, the first part is the introduction, the background and significance of the topic of this article, a brief summary of the relevant literature, and introduced the research method of this paper. The second part is the teacher’s role in the relationship between teachers and students, the definition for the role of teachers, the teacher’s role under the background of the old course and the background of the new curriculum are introduced respectively. The third part elaborates the main problems existing in the transformation of teachers’ role in the aspects of politics teaching in middle school. The fourth part is a detailed analysis of the causes of the problems in the changing role of teachers of politics of high school under the background of new curriculum. The fifth part on the basis of the above analysis, and puts forward some countermeasures for promoting transformation of politics teachers’ role.This paper argues that, under the background of the new curriculum, teachers’ role orientation should be the guide students learning, student learning, student leader development student learning facilitators, participants, diversified evaluation, thought guide. There are changes in the role of teachers of politics of the relationship between teachers and students under the background of new curriculum, the main problem in the teaching objective is too utilitarian, guide little effect; the teaching contents to the college entrance examination for the first baton, commander effect cannot be reflected; teaching way too mode, promoting the role needs to be improved; teaching methods pay attention to the form of neglect effect, the role of actors should be strengthened; the teaching effect of single evaluation measure, the role can not be reflected; less students humanistic quality education, the leader role can not be achieved. Investigate its reason, the college entrance examination is still the benchmark measure of teaching achievements; the change of teacher’s role consciousness is not strong enough; teaching research; lack of advanced teaching mode of foreign exchange of learning; students are used to passive mode of education, lack of initiative. The key role of politics teachers in middle school in the background of the new curriculum is to cultivate interest, to guide; teachers should strive to enhance their professional qualities, good conductor; build a new political teaching mode, attach importance to the interaction between teachers and students, good facilitator; do the participants; the importance of communication feedback, make evaluation; "closed" political education "society" and political education, to lead the way.
