《The professional standards of teachers in Secondary vocational school》,which promulgated by Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China in September 2013,clearly defined the professional knowledge of teachers in Secondary vocational school,include the pedagogy knowledge,the professional background knowledge,curriculum teaching knowledge,general knowledge.Resent years,The specialization of teachers in Secondary vocational school is an important issue in the field of vocational education, so the research of this theme has a special significance.In this study,the research subject is the teachers in Secondary vocational school.Based on the relevant theory and experience of the characteristics and structure,current status,the development of methods, approaches and strategies of the teachers’professional knowledge which have summarized,induced and refined,the designed questionnaire "current status of the professional knowledge of teachers in Secondary vocational school"will investigate 171 teachers in Secondary vocational school from Guangdong province.By collect, collate, analyze the data on the pedagogy knowledge,the Professional background knowledge,curriculum teaching knowledge,general knowledge,the developing self-awareness of the Professional knowledge,the training efficacy of the professional knowledge,the survey turned out that four issues have hinder the development of the professional knowledge of teachers in Secondary vocational school in Guangdong province,which were uneven development on various dimensions,significant group differences in background characteristics of different teachers,weak sense of self-development expertise,low efficiency of development activities. With the theory of adult development and learning, Teachers’ career development and teachers’ reflection,we conclude that the development activities of the professional knowledge of teachers in Secondary vocational school,should insist on the principle of dominated by school-based training, diversity,the principle of diversity,the principle of Multi-level,the principle of autonomy.In order to promote the development of the professional knowledge of teachers in Secondary vocational school in Guangdong province,this research had presented four dimensions of suggestions:firstly was Establish a monitoring and evaluation mechanisms of the development of the professional knowledge of teachers in Secondary vocational school.Secondly was Create an atmosphere for learning Professional knowledge.Thirdly was Insist Reflections.The last was Make full use of school-enterprise cooperation.
