In the context of higher vocational education, micro lecture with its own unique advantages which have been known by people in recent years. This study focuses on the application of micro lecture in Teaching of Higher Vocational Education. This thesis is divided into five parts.The first part focuses on the research background and significance, purpose and methods. It contains the aspects of higher vocational education from the background information construction, promoting the reform of vocational education curriculum to meet student-centered, work process-centered teaching and learner needs, etc. It also includes the research purpose and research methods, and finally the basic concepts involved in this study were defined.The second part is the literature review. It includes the results of previous studies’ summary and description, which contains the researches of the theory and practice at domestic and abroad, including the micro-class design, the theory and practice of teaching and research, the current situation on "Mechanical Drawing" teaching in China.The third part is the design and application of "Mechanical Drawing" micro lectures. In this part, the case course “Mechanical Drawing” in Guangdong Electromechanical Vocational and Technical College was introduced and the theoretical basis of micro courses, including behavioral theory, based on the scenario of teaching theory, constructivist learning theory, ubiquitous learning theory were also presented.The fourth part is the effect of micro lectures’ application and evaluation. A survey of the application results of this study was conducted which mainly uses the questionnaire and interview survey, which investigated the learners feeling on the use of micro-lecture and the satisfaction of the form of the micro lecture.
