The definition of Social Work is that professional servers with professional education and training help clients solve problems and promote mutual adaptation with the environment in the method which upholding the concept of self-reliance and using professional social work methods to connect resources to clients. Since the 1980s, social work have been developing for more than 20 years, by the end of 2008, Degree Office of the State Council decided to take the developing of the Master of Social Work Degree as an important measure for training social workers into personnel development program. Beginning in 2009 the Master of Social Work was founded, formal enrollment began in 2010, and education in Master of Social Work (MSW) developing rapidly in recent years and education in Master of Social Work (MSW) has made several remarkable achievements. At the same time, with the increase enrollment of postgraduate in recent years, the number of cross-discipline group of postgraduates has become an important part. The percentage of MSW students with non-social work background has become higher and higher with the tide of increasing postgraduate enrollment.This paper is going to study the graduate degree of MSW students and analyze the difference between interdisciplinary students and students in this major on professional learnings professional recognition and professionaL employment and other facts by the way of making questionnaires and survey on class 2013 and 2014 MSW students in Anhui University. The result shows that the influence of graduate degree is exist for taking part in exams, studying and job hunting after these students join the social work major. In the aspect of exam preparation, the graduate degree is social or not will make difference on understand of this major, so as the efforts of exam preparation. In the aspect of major studying after going to school, previous experience will work a lot while interdisciplinary students take more pressure on study and practice. In the aspect of employment intention, a part of interdisciplinary students would like to find a job which is close to their previous major, salary and vision of career is the main influencing factor for them to take social work as career area.In the last part, this paper is going give some advices for improving the quality of MSW education in the main aspect of training interdisciplinary students. In the phases of independent study before enrollment:schools with MSW degree are needed to intensify the difficulty of entering examinations to inspiring interdisciplinary students spend more time and energy to study. In addition, supervisors can assist students to design their own self-study program to advance into the guide state, stimulate students’ enthusiasm and avoid blind study. In the phases of course learning after enrollment:Firstly, innovating curriculum and strengthening the teaching effects of basic courses. Add some transitional courses between graduate and postgraduate, meanwhile, elective courses are needed to be add up too. Secondly, teaching methods are going to be innovated. Develop "interactive mode" method, and organize more communication activities between cross-discipline postgraduate students and non-interdisciplinary postgraduate students so that they are easier to expanding horizon, and get more opportunities to cultivating different interests. In the phases of career guidance before graduation:strengthening the theoretical guidance for graduate students in social work professional values education to help MSW students correcting inaccurate understand and evaluation of their own, establishing the correct values and career aspirations, determining the appropriate career expectations, choosing-career on the basis of the needs of the community,and dealing with the relationship between ideality and reality.
