This study on the basis of the theory of MVP, using multimedia assisted teaching method, discusses the practice of the hurdles teaching effect. Through the hurdles of multimedia teaching and traditional teaching in class, comparative study, analysis of two kinds of teaching methods in the motivation of students, will the change of the result and feedback, the paper mainly discusses the effect of the application of multimedia assisted instruction in hurdles course.This text uses the method of documents and materials to inspect method, questionnaire survey method, software filings, conduct the thorough research to the contrast experiment method, mathematical statistics method, through the teaching experiment to the following conclusion:1、the use of multimedia teaching can largely improve the students’ learning motivation, to overcome emotions such as fear, tension, have interest on the hurdles.(the experimental results show that P < 0.05) Through data with engaging characters, cultivating students’ curiosity about the hurdles, resulting in the purpose of "learn hurdles”. Realize is a movement against physical quality and psychological quality, to show one’s own courage to excellent, fearless spirit. Can learn hurdles against subhealth, more can stimulate the student training determination.2、using the authority of the "video incentive". Attract students attention to the training, motivate students to keep learning.(the experimental results show that P < 0.05) Hone will, fully mobilize students’ subjective initiative, integrating the resource of self and self-monitoring. Train the ability of self management, overcome their own laziness and other internal and external factors, finally achieve learning goals.3、multimedia teaching result is superior to traditional teaching,(the experimental results show that P < 0.05), but not all hurdles teaching evaluation results, it also includes the follow-up with the help of the students, the author analyzes the reasons of influence performance. Improve the students’ attribution of cognition, in order to make up the shortfall in future study. Teach students how to manage their own emotions, and to the point of self evaluation, self strengthening, to help students achieve synchronization health of body and mind.4、Through the survey after the experiment that, the students in the experimental group 97% were satisfied with the training result, and 62% of the students to analyze their advantages and disadvantages and how should strive to achieve better training effect. While the control group of 45% students satisfied, 28% think generally, 17% feel dissatisfied; only individual students can find their own problems, but does not know how to improve. The experimental results show that, the multimedia teaching in the teaching of running more comprehensive cultivation of students’ knowledge and skill in the hurdles, achieve higher learning objectives.
