Research On Supply Of Urban Community Sports Service In Chongqing

Urban community sports service is not only the important carrier of mass sports in Chongqing, but also the practical platform for improving the people’s livelihood in the process of urbanization. Moreover it is regarded as the public welfare for people to recognize sports and pursue health. The supply of sports services includes providers and receivers. Using the method of literature, questionnaire, mathematical statistics and so on, this paper will conduct a research on the target, body, content and management of the supply of Chongqing’s urban community based on the providing perspective.With an observation of the current situation in supply of urban community sports service,we can find the the following problems:First,according the research on target of supply, local residents who belong to different age and gender have various participation in sports. At the same time they are not contented with current sports service and have strong demand for future supply. Second, although the body of service supply has become diversified, the government still remains the most important one to rely on. Third, the supply of the content, equipment, sites as well as the types of services remains in single model with the characteristics of administrative standard. However, luckily, the information service has been improved a lot and the stuff are more willing to help. Last but not the least, a lot of jobs should be done in the construction of the management system. All the problems mentioned above are mainly a result of the shortage of fund and technology. Besides, the unprofessional stuff, the insufficient use of resources and the lack of professional training are also due to blame.Based on the present situation, there are some problems in the whole supply system. Residents are not very satisfied with the integral community sports service. From the macro view the government fails to coordinate, value and invest the supply service. Actually community of diverse supply bodies lack participation and interaction; the content is limited and single because of small integration in resources; the whole mechanism of organization, operation and management is not complete; the channels of information of reception and feedback is not perfect and advanced; the other work in community is complicated and unprofessional for the absence of instructors.The factors influencing the urban community sports service in Chongqing include: The attention and money given by the government and community; The level of supply service provided by the government and community; The multiple bodies’ participation in public community sports supply; The increasingly diverse demand of local residents and their active consciousness to serve.According these problems the government should continue to improve the construction of hardware and make it really happen. Under such condition the government could set the concept of supplying the sports service by the whole people; Find right position and build diverse platforms of supply-demand; integrate supply bodies to achieve multiple participation; Optimize the universal supply platform and publicize them in different ways and levels; Strengthen security of organization, system, and operation to serve orderly; we should strengthen the professional sports and its sustainability. Besides participation of volunteers, guarantees of talents and professional service is necessary.
