Against the background of educational transformation from elitism to mass-oriented, Interscholastic undergraduate exchange, an exploration on new mode of talent cultivation, plays a very important role in the development of higher education cause and contributes effectively in forging high level universities in the world. At present, interscholastic undergraduate exchange mainly includes two types: exchange among domestic universities and exchange with overseas universities. The research object of this paper is exchange students of X university of our country. This paper carefully investigates how exchange students to adapt the study and life of foreign partner university during the communication and analyses the current status of their performance on adaptability and provides corresponding solutions and advice. Hopefully this research will provide theoretical framework for both the researchers in the future and teachers who are dedicated to explore the effective solutions to improve undergraduate’s adaptability. And it can also provide referential value to other higher education institutes as well.By reviewing literature and analyzing the students’ questionnaires and in-depth interviews, the paper investigates the status of learning adaptability of these exchange students. After processing the data with analysis software(SPSS20.0) and Fuzzy Synthetic Evaluation method, the author concludes that these undergraduates’ performances of adaptability when learning abroad are mean. The target students have physical and psychological problems on adapting themselves to the learning circumstance, to the culture and language and to the interpersonal relationship. The author therefore provides solutions and advice on these problems from various perspectives. These solutions and advice include: for the students themselves, they should make relevant preparations before departure, and try their best to adapt and adjust themselves after arrival; for the relevant faculties, they should optimize the cohesion of courses, carry out more lectures on exchange program, add more staffs to the department in charge of managing exchange students, further promote the consultative services for the exchange students, and even psychological counseling; for the parents, they should help the children adjust their expectations and clarify their goals, and keep constant communications.
