A Research On Special Profession Construction Of Local Colleges And Universities In China

In the background of mass higher education, the size and number of local universities develops rapidly, which plays an important role on the development of China’s higher education. Compared to the universities belong to the ministry of Education, local universities are at a disadvantage in the fierce competition. So the development of characteristic professionalism becomes the key factor of the development for local universities, and characteristic professionalism turnings into the significant symbol of special strategies. Only take the construction of characteristic professionalism as the breakthrough point, can it promote the local universities to enhance the overall strength, can be full of vitality in the fierce competition. The paper mainly adopts literature method, qualitative analysis method, compared method and case analysis method towards the construction of characteristic professionalism. Combined with the theory of the construction of characteristic professionalism and combing the content, principle and problems of characteristic professionalism, we put forward the countermeasures of the construction of characteristic professionalism for local universities. We except that the standard of construction of characteristic professionalism will be improved.And it can play for the local social service function, at the same time, it also can push the construction of characteristic professionalism to local universities.The paper mainly includes three parts:The first part has generally summarized the concept of the construction of characteristic professionalism in local universities and combed the content and principles of characteristic professionalism.The second part has analyzed the problems and reasons of the construction of characteristic professionalism in local universities. That problems are the dislocated of professional, lacking concise of characteristic, backward standard of constructs method, inadequate resources of facilities. And that reasons are little attention paid by the department in charge of education, backward standard of the schools’ building concept, lacking teachers meet to the needs and lacking of funds.The third part has put forward the countermeasures of characteristic professionalism in local universities.
