With the development of the education in mainland, the single mode of national curriculum has gradually exposed some weakness concerning not considering all aspects of practical issues of every school. Hereby, geography school-based curriculum development claims schools’ own features and advantages under the guidance of national education, the developers would focus on different characteristics of different schools, then they are eager to adjust present conditions and utilize new measures to meet local circumstance. The main purpose is to optimize school education resource integration and utilization, improve the comprehensive capabilities of the teachers, promote the students’ personalities and make the students well-rounded. Geography school-based curriculum teaching is more fruitful including flexible teaching methods, multiple ways to analyzing and assessing, emphasizing all the members participated and comprehensive development. Therefore, It is on the schedule that the traditional level of curriculum management system transforms into three-level curriculum management system. Meanwhile, it is imperative to accelerate the school-based curriculum development programs.This article demonstrates the school-based geography-curriculum development and research at the aspects of theory and practice. First, I analyze background and significance of the school-based geography-curriculum development and research in Number Two High School in Jiao He of Ji Lin province, and I summarize present situations and results of the school-based geography-curriculum development and research at home and abroad. Then I make the research aim and content of this article more clearly as well as explaining research method and approach, stating the precise meaning of the core concept.Moreover, I show the theoretical basis of examination method of the school-based geography-curriculum, especially stress development principle, the specific development mode and development procedure. It is of great importance to discuss the practice research of the school-based geography-curriculum development in Number Two High School in Jiao He of Ji Lin Province.Through school curriculum resources and society curriculum resources, I investigate the resource condition of the school-based geography-curriculum in Number Two High School in Jiao He of Ji Lin province. I apply utilize many ways including interviewing related individuals, using questionnaire, consulting with my professors and peers and looking up data. With realizing the related people’s attitudes and their capabilities on the schoolbased geography-curriculum development, I consider the aim and principle of the research school as my direction, and I emphasize the development producers concerning establishing management system, estimating then targeting at the objective, organizing and implementing, course evaluation and carrying out development activities. The author of this article makes the school-based geography-curriculums which named the Beauty of Chang bai Mountains and a series of Scientific Practical Research, Besides, I set the methods and evaluations of the school-based geography-curriculums as well as I proposal related suggestions to improve. Taking the new curriculum the Beauty of Chang bai Mountains. The Mountain Casting By God and the adapted curriculum the Scientific Practical Research- What things are contained in air for specific instants, I strongly exhibit the teaching features and teaching styles of Number Two High School in Jiao He. Last but not least, I sum up my main ideas of research results and shortcomings, and my expectation of future research is showed on the article according to all the things above.
