Educational reform has been carried out all over the country.In order to make the running of primary and secondary schools more local,school-based curriculum plays an important role.School-based curriculum is a win-win curriculum system,which is conducive to the growth needs of teachers and improves the ability of curriculum development of teachers;it can play a role in the overall development and personalized development of students;it can also play a role in promoting the creation of characteristic classes and schools.A School attached to Guangzhou is a basic education school with foreign language characteristics.Through the opening of school-based curriculum "Cultural Theme",the school enables students to have a world perspective and modern consciousness.Combining with the current demand for the promotion of traditional culture and the reform of the college entrance examination,the school geography preparation group decided to set up a school-based course of "Cultural Theme" of "Masterpieces and Geography" to cultivate the habit of learning with comprehensive thinking through the integration of knowledge among different disciplines.By choosing the historical events in famous works,we can excavate the geographical knowledge that students are interested in.In the first grade of senior high school,students are allowed to register freely.Through one semester's use of the mode of group discussion,more students can make breakthroughs in natural geography in the first grade of senior high school.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Exploring the school-based curriculum development of discipline integration.The advantages of teachers and courses have been brought into play,and students' interest in learning has been greatly attracted and the teaching effect has been improved.(2)Geographical elements in famous works have been excavated.It excavates the geographical phenomena and processes of Chinese historical masterpieces and guides students to cultivate their geographical vision and logical thinking in the cultivation of literature.(3)An attempt was made to teach "masterpieces and geography".Through the teaching mode of group cooperation and competition,students can learn geography knowledge by appreciating masterpieces and associate them with masterpieces when describing geography knowledge.
