The environmental protection which is regarded as developmental problems has aroused wide concern.The objective that we held environmental protection education of the middle school student is to let the students r ealize the relationship of human beings and environment in the development,to establish the correct dialectical thinking and scientific attitude,to encourage the students to take p art in the systematic education system which should improve the environment and prom ote the social sustainable development.The environment protection education of the mid dle school student is an important component part of Quality Education,it isalso the embodiment of our government to education.The paper utilizes the references and analysis of the document literature,By carryin g out a questionnaire survey of the the environmental protection education of the middle school student of Zhangye,Gansu Province.Based on the result of the survey,present so me countermeasures,as follows:Continue to set up and improve “Green Schoolyard”;Bri ng the environmental protection education into moral education system;Run practical ac tivity of environmental education positively;Strengthen the favorable interaction among the school,society and family. Finally, the author believes that the construction of high school, family and society three party collaborative school environmental education mechanism is to strengthen the foundation and guarantee of the environmental education of middle school students. The middle school to become the main position of environmental education of middle school students, family and society should work closely with the relationship between the students’ environmental education, so that three party mutual connection, mutual supplement and promotion.Not only the economy can be developed rapidly but also the environmental protecti on education can be sustainable development in the 21 st Century.therefore, enhancing and strengthening the environmental protection education of the middle school student in our countries will be related to the national development plan in the future,the national long period of stability and the “China Dream”.
