| Along with the increasing of environmental problems, the environment education become more and more important in every country. As successor of the 21st century, the beginning of school instruction in environmental education has a critical influence on them and make them come into force in the future. Teachers who directly take part in environmental education and determines the quality of teaching is the most important factor in environmental education. Therefore, it is very important and urgent for us to make a research on teachers who participate in environmental education at teachers college and training department of environmental.Firstly ,the thesis points out the importance and urgency of environmental education for middle school and primary school by researching on the ready accomplishments and analyzing the definition and connotation of the"environment", "environmental problem" and "environmental education", it also come out the general recognition of environmental education by summarizing the history of environmental education at home and abroad. Furthermore, according to a special study of environmental education in middle school and primary school, The thesis try to probe teachers important duties and roles from the aspects of pedagogy and psychology.Secondly, this article carrys on the elaborate assessment to the environmental education level and current action situation of teachers in middle school and primary school in Gansu province on the basis of statistical analysis of the questionnaire. And draw the basic conclusion: The situation of the teachers environmental education is in the medium and low level. Compared to environmental consciousness and knowledge of teachers, the implement situation lies in a lower level, their environmental action fall behind. The influence on the level of environmental education is very remarkable from locality and subjects, but it is not remarkable from individual sex and age. The level of their environmental education and action are interrelated, and there are inosculations and differences between result of analysis and investigated in the past. In addition, this article carry on correlation analysis to every part of the questionnaire, the result is that environmental consciousness, knowledge, action and training situation are interacted one another.Finally, based on the current situation investigation, the thesis claimed that the reinforcement of environmental education in middle school and primary school should attach importance to the following aspects: increasing knowledge of environmental education, keeping ideas up to date and strengthening environmental consciousness. According to different materials, teacher should choose suitable model and various methods. Schools should strengthen their management and coordination of environmental education by using their function of the whole education. It is very important that teachers college and training department of environmental protection should train teachers by several ways. Meanwhile, the government and the whole society should work together and support middle school and primary school to improve their conditions and create a good atmosphere. |
