| In the 1980s, single-child policy was popular in Chinese rural area.The families had many children before the policy,and now one family with one child. With the changes of economic, society and population structure in villages, the young couples tend to live without their parents after their marriage. Family is in the space, the domestic relationship is affected by the space. Close range in the space will promote social relationship in the traditional concept,but domestic relationship is one of the social relationship, the space has different influences on domestic relationship. Different residential form has different influence on family relationship. In order to find how the residential form impact on domestic relationship, I make the residential form as independent variable to discuss the relationship between residential form and domestic relationship. Because of one-child policy, the domestic relationship has two sides, spousal relationship and Inter-generational relationship, the research will discuss that, haw the residential form aspect the spousal relationship and Inter-generational relationship.I choose H village of Nan tong as the survey site in the research. With the research methods as questionnaire survey and case interview to collect data. Choosing the wife of the young couple as the respondent. I select 130 samples in the questionnaire survey,in that 65 samples live without their parents, another 65 samples live with their parents. Except that I select 20 samples to do case interview,10 samples live without their parents. And then I entered the data into database,use spss16.0 to analyze these data.By analyzing the data, I find that the residential form affect domestic relationship. Compare the family which young couple live without their parents to the family which young couple live with their parents,their spousal relationship is more intimate, their Inter-generational relationship is more balanced. |
