The Research On The Design And Application Of Online Platform For Postgraduate Student Collaborative Research

Scientific research, as a source of innovation, play an important role in any subject area. Graduate students as the reserve army strength of scientific research, their scientific research level of the same concern. With the increasingly large contingent of graduate students, cultivating scientific research ability has been more and more challenges. Graduate students as research practitioners also research learner, in the daily practice of scientific research process still exist many problems,affects its ability and the level of scientific research .However, the development of information technology, the birth of the Internet, also bring new development opportunities for scientific research. With the proposed of e-science, making more and more researchers began to tend to the network research, a wider collaborative scientific research paradigm. In this case, this study attempts to construct an online support platform for postgraduate collaborative research, and to explore a new way for the ascension of students’ ability of scientific research.In order to better fit the actual demand of the scientific research of graduate students, to provide support services for the process of scientific research practice, this study conducted the following exploration: First of all, through the study of relevant theories, gives the definition of the core concepts of this research, and the existing research practice related to the theme of this study are summarized. Secondly, on the current status of graduate research environment, the common problems encountered in the study practice, for the collaborative research needs as well as for online collaborative research support platform attitude and other related aspects of research, to collect first-hand data for statistical analysis. Based on this practice research, under the guidance of the relevant theory, we constructed a model of the postgraduate online collaborative research process, and designed the corresponding function frame of the support platform, then use the Duckling (collaborative work environment suite) to build a platform prototype, realize the functions related to the design. Finally, the platform is put into trial operation, the graduate student of Educational Technology of Southwestern University for the trial object selection, on the basis of trial solutions of platform, carried out the online discussion activities of research collaboration. End of the platform trial operation, feedback interviews related to the platform trial users on the platform, the effect of the trial are summarized reflection.The results shows that: the support platform for postgraduate online collaborative research provides a good environment and tool support for postgraduates’ online collaborative research. It provide the common place and some convenience support for the research data of graduate collaborative research, management, among the members of the collaborative editing and exchange. This makes the problems of existing graduates’ practice research has been effectively alleviated, but also for the follow-up research to provide some experience for reference.
