With the advent of the era of Big Data, information transmission becomes more convenient. The variety of powerful search engines and various kinds of education websites provide the kinds of network teaching resource for educators. With the advent of society, with the free, rich, convenient and quick advantage, network teaching resource has become an important way for teachers and students to access to the high quality teaching resources. And in today’s digital era, with the rapid development of information technology, a kind of learning pattern based on network is changing the way people access to knowledge, more and more students want to obtain more intelligent and personalized learning knowledge.Under the background of the "micro-blog" "We Chat" times, with micro lecture emerges as the representative of the learning styles. The article is based on the starting point of improving the quality of geography teaching and meeting the needs of students, with learning carrier of micro courses, with the basis of the existing problems on the teaching reform. The purpose is to introduce the micro-lecture into high school geography teaching. The purpose is to strengthen the cultivation of students’ geographical core of literacy education, to promote the rational allocation of resources, to promote the realization of educational fairness and to adapt to the students’ demand on geography learning in the era of information intelligence. And the emergence of micro-lecture provides a new train of thought and the purpose is to help to cultivate the comprehensive talents with innovation, to contribute to the process of country’s modernization. However there also exist some restrictions if we introduce the micro subjects into high school geography, so we should make the further study and development.
