With the higher sickness rate of autism children, we calculate that there are more than 2 million autism children in China. The medical field faces problems which have unclear cause of disease, long terms of treatment and without specific medicine. As the most powerful backup, parents of children with autism attract the eyes of investigators.The paper applies social support method to study formal support and informal support through hospitals, recovery center, commonweal organizations, families, peer groups and network media. Obviously, parents are faced with economic pressure, mental stress, the difficulties of social integration and learning in regular class of children, lack of social security policies and so on. Under the pressure, it is crucial to provide moral support for parents. So the author designs the group work practice to help them relax, find themselves and ensure self affirmation.In addition, there is some advice to hence social support of parents. Such like carrying out epidemiological screening, improving the domestic medical system, acting with departments, establishing parents’support groups, strengthening the relationship of families and friends and attracting the eyes of network media and commonweal organizations.
