The discuss about Chinese textbooks for junior high school has been a lot, and it covers all aspects. In my paper, I focus the problem of “corrections and deletions” in the textbook and suspect the humanities in the Chinese textbooks.The most important part of my paper is the phenomenon of “corrections and deletions ” in the textbook. The academic circles talked about the phenomenon before, but it is not systematized. In my paper, I lineage Guo Chuyang and Shi Jingxia’s thoughts and try to systematic this problem. Therefore, I focus the whole Chinese textbooks for junior high school. I compared every single text with the original version to find which parts have been deleted or corrected, then I try my best to make a chart. From this chart, I find that the contents about “death”, “sex” always have been deleted. Based on these, I discuss the consequences about this behavior. It may cause the drawback in contents and languages. Of course, the positive meaning is that it may fit the use of modern language. At last, I propose some methods which the teachers can use this teaching resources. It contains comparison methods, arousing interests methods, rewriting methods and so on.However, whatever the people try to compile, the first thing they have to consider is “humanity” and “instrumental”. Therefore, in my paper, I talk about the “selection” part. Just like the compilation part, I suspect the humanities in the textbooks. The most significant content in this part is “the humanity aren’t real” and “the lose caused by humanity”.
