The geography teaching of the senior high school is a high-level geography education based on junior high school education. At the beginning of high school geography teaching quality of non convergence is bound to affect the high school geography teaching. Many high school teachers of junior high school geography teaching because of the lack of understanding of the situation, and they can’t follow the theory and mode of operation, which can well guide freshman adapt to high school geography learning. With the new curriculum reform, high school geography teaching convergence issues are also increasingly subject to the attention of teachers. The research methods of this paper are literature research method, questionnaire survey method, comparative analysis method, experience sum up method, etc.This paper includes four chapters. the first chapter introduces the research background, the theoretical basis and the main research methods. The second chapter in the form of questionnaire of junior high school geography teachers teaching situation and high school geography learning situation investigation. The third chapter from the curriculum and teaching content, teaching goal difference of junior high school and senior high school, the difference of junior high school students cognitive differences and teaching management of four aspects of analysis, at the beginning of high school teaching of the causes of the problem. Finally, the author from the teaching method, learning method, evaluation method of teaching management and puts forward the teaching countermeasures.
