Recent years, with the construction and promotion of productive training bases by a group of demonstrative higher vocational colleges, new benchmarks of the cultivation of students’ comprehensive capability and the improvement of their competence in employment market have been set up. However, both theoretical and practical researches of productive training base are still in the initial stage, especially for the performance management, the lack of a dynamic and follow-up management system and scientific evaluation criteria have become the restriction of the sustainable development of training bases. Therefore, the significance of building up a reasonable and effective evaluation system cannot be ignored in the management of training bases.Compared to the assessment of training bases, much experience have been achieved by enterprise in their work of performance assessment. In essence, practice education is for the purpose of enhancing professional capabilities of students and matching the school training with the requirements of job positions. And the performance evaluation of enterprises shares many similarities with the one of training bases. Therefore, this paper will analyze and summarize the conditions and existing problems of China’s productive training bases, before optimizing the assessment system of training bases with reference to the successful experiences and mature theories of enterprise performance evaluation. This paper is expected to improve the effectiveness of the evaluation system of training bases and fulfill its productive potential.This paper can be divided to four parts. The first chapter introduces the significance, background, existing research achievements and related conceptions. By using the method of questionnaire survey and interview, this paper will summarize the primary problems of training bases in assessing performance. The third chapter is devoted to analyze the possible contributive theories and experiences in enterprise performance assessment from which the training bases can borrow, such as evaluation methods, evaluation forms and evaluation function. The fourth chapter, as the core part of the whole paper, will carry out a detailed optimization design, which includes evaluation purpose, evaluation criteria weights, the organization of evaluation of further optimization advice. Finally, this paper summarizes the conclusions and outcomes of this research, in prior to mentioning the deficiencies and some personal thinking of further improvement of this research.
