With a new round of basic education reform carried out, a series of reform aimed at changing the traditional teacher-centered education patterns have been developed. And Case Study Teaching Mode(CSTM) is the experience-integration product of the domestic first-line teachers under this background. It emphasizes taking student as the main body, taking guidance case as the carrier and changing the traditional mode of teaching and learning, advocates students’ inquiry learning and cooperation.Senior high school politics is a unique course with function of moral education,such as improving students’ ideological and moral level and promoting students ’all-round development. Therefore, it has a great significance to apply Case Study Teaching Mode(CSTM) on the senior high school politics for efficient classroom teaching. And it is necessary to use the SWOT method for Overall analysis and research on various aspects.This article is divided into four parts. The first part is introduction, mainly discusses the background and significance of Case Study Teaching Mode(CSTM),the domestic and foreign research status, and expounds the research method of this article. The second part mainly discusses the contents and characteristics, principles and concrete steps of senior high school politics CSTM. The third part mainly analysis and research the advantages, disadvantages and the opportunities and challenges of senior high school politics CSTM by using SWOT methods. The fourth part mainly discusses using CSTM including its strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and challenges to optimize the four aspects in Senior high school politics.
