At present, primary school Chinese textbooks of Jiangsu Education Publishing House appears some non-standard phenomena. This research mainly adopts the method of text analysis to analyze three aspects of the textbook illustrations, including: the number and distribution of textbooks; characteristics and position; the types and functions. In the analysis of the current situation of the use of illustrations in textbooks, this research mainly adopts the investigation method. Teachers and students as the two aspects of using textbook illustrations, have some problems in the understanding and application of illustration. Aiming at solving these problems, this study proposes several opinions on the choice of textbook illustrations from the macroscopic aspect, including:a center, a guide,a premise. For illustration teaching, practice is everything. Therefore, the research puts forward some suggestions for the choice of textbook illustrations in the microscopic aspect. This study suggests, teachers should select illustrations, especially to guide students to interpret the images. Teachers should have the courage to abandon unreasonable illustrations, guide students to acquire new knowledge and ability. |
