It was written in "Program Outline of National Middle and Long-term Education Reform and Development (2010-2020)" that, "Complete students’development records and evaluate comprehensive quality. Explore various evaluating ways in order to promote students’ development, inspire students to be optimistic, positive, and independent and become useful individuals." Conducting developmental evaluations of students, the purpose of evaluation is to improve but not to prove. The functions of evaluation turn from emphasizing determination into focusing on diagnosis, encouragement and development. The influence of examination-oriented education on students’ full development is solved effectively. The idea is favored by the majority of teachers in primary and middle schools; it is also widely applied in practice of new course evaluation reforms.Modern school education has entered into a new time of information and network, "digitalized campus" is taking place of traditional school education mode gradually. In new educational background, some advanced educational teaching methods are used, certain limitations in traditional teaching mode are broken, students’ development evaluation can be built as middle school student electronic development file through network, completely new comprehensive evaluation mechanism with full-aspect is realized.Based on theoretical research of relevant literature materials of electronic development file, overall researching and developing status of electronic development file in recent years home and abroad and its application research in high school teaching were managed. During checking documents, one problem was found:practice data was not testified enough in researches of electronic development files. Most of the checked literatures discussed about technology, contents and operability, just few were about research of practice feedback of applying electronic development file on course teaching, especially only few cases were about accomplishing teaching by combing electronic development file with Chemistry course teaching.In the beginning, the thesis makes an analysis and gives the definition about concerning concepts. Basing on some theories like Constructive Learning Theory, Multiple Intelligences Theory and Process Evaluation Theory, the author attempts to construct the contents of electronic files. Then the author conducts a study on learning situation of students and Chemistry teachers of grade one in Experimental High School through questionnaires. Collecting data from learning interests of Chemistry, learning mode and autonomy, relationship between teachers and students, etc, and combining some theories, the author puts forward contents of electronic files and practical operations in this research:1. Built middle school student electronic development file. Created electronic development file through blog (BLOGGER).2. Set up Student "Chemistry Learning Pass Through Manual" (see Appendix 6) in Chemistry course teaching. "Chemistry Learning Pass Through Manual" is like learning notes, reviewing and practicing list.3. Teacher selected excellent scans, added them into electronic development file and solved students’ questions in real time.4. Follow and record students with middle and lower scores, conduct analysis and investigation on examination scores of three periods:Before Entrance Test, Period Test during learning (after one month), Midterm Test (after two months), psychological changes about Chemistry learning and other aspects. Following was continued until the end of the semester.Practical results show that the middle school student electronic growth file conducted in this project has certain effect in Senior One Chemistry teaching research. After applying the middle school electronic growth file in assisting teaching, students’interests on Chemistry increased obviously, they gradually developed good learning habits and their learning performances improved evidently. Electronic growth file is an internet space based on computer technology, it enables students to master certain information quality (using information technology in checking and selecting materials). Its virtuality ameliorates pure teaching-learning relationship between teachers and students, teachers gain further understanding about their students through electronic growth file, offer suggestions and advice "according to students’natural abilities", their relationship becomes closer and more harmonious.Since my researching ability is limited and the research time was short, there are some shortcomings about data and other aspects in this research, efficiency and conclusions of the research need to be tested further. At the end of the paper, the limitation of the research about the application of the middle school student electronic growth file in Senior One Chemistry teaching practice was discussed, the future development of the electronic file was forecasted.
