In the geography curriculum standard(experiment) of high school ", the first basic idea is "cultivating geographical qualification for citizens". Geographical thought and the method is an important part of geographic literacy, which is the key to achieve geographic literacy education. It took the first "geographical three"of version Xiang as the research object by using the method of analysis of educational book contains geographical thought.The main content of this paper including: The first one is the present situation of the research, which the geographical thought and method in middle school geography teaching, and the research methods and research ideas; Secondly, it discussed that the geographical thought and the method of content of geographical three. Take an analysis of geographical thought and method content. Then, Take an analysis of content composition of conditions geographical thought and method of "geographical three". This paper discussed the goal of geographical thought and the method the geographical three as a whole target for it and analyzed the goal by chapter. The fourthly is to put forward the teaching strategy geographical thought and the method of "geographical three", which analyses the typical geographic methods of teaching steps and explains the important geographical ideas of teaching methods.The basic conclusion including: The geographical thought and methods in teaching material "geographic three" contained including seven kinds of thoughts: relationship between human and earth, sustainable development thought, respectively, geography, geography, regional comprehensive thought the viewpoints, geographical process thought, adjust measures to local conditions and geographical causal thought.The method includes seven geographic description method, the graph method respectively, the geographical investigation, geographical comprehensive analysis method, comparison method, literature method, inductive and deductive method. Combined with the teaching material reflects thoughts and methods, it is concluded the aim of "geographic three" idea and method: trains the student to form a correct concept of geography and geographical perspective, learning region geography research methods, and can solve the problem of real life. Put forward to carry out the geographical thought in geography teaching.
