In 2017,the Ministry of Education published a new standard for geography curriculum in general high school,which proposed to cultivate the core literacy of students.In the training strategy of geographical core literacy,one is "the integration of discipline logic and the cultivation of core literacy" and the "content requirements”of the new curriculum standards are all required for students.[1]is analyzed and described by data.The process of analyzing and describing these geographical things requires a logical thinking.The ability of logical thinking is not only the key to solving the problem of geography,but also a necessary ability of students in the process of growth and development.It also has the ability of logical thinking in geography.Geographical image as an important learning tool for geography is an indispensable material in geography classroom to train students' geographical logic thinking ability through geographical image.In the research at home and abroad,we all attach great importance to the cultivation of students'ability to use geographic images.Meanwhile,the training of students'logical thinking ability is the best time in high school.Therefore,it is necessary to cultivate students' geographical logical thinking ability based on geographical images.This paper first summarizes the content of the research according to the current research status at home and abroad,and then defines the related concepts of geographical image,logical thinking ability and geographical logic thinking ability.Using the literature collection data to design the questionnaire,and using the questionnaire survey method to investigate the status of the A high school students' geographical logic thinking ability,and inquired some senior high school teachers according to the interview method.The data collected are analyzed with SPSS and Excel.According to the present situation,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Most of the students in the school think that the learning geography image is not easy and the interest of learning geography is not high;(2)Most students use high frequency but not high power;(3)The students of the school have a better place.Generalization ability,but geographical reasoning ability and geographical comprehensive analysis ability is not high;(4)In the process of reading,we cannot organize knowledge points.On the basis of constructivist academic theory,information processing theory and cognitive development theory,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward:improving students' ability to distinguish geographical images,strengthening the establishment of students' knowledge network,enhancing students' thinking ability through classroom interaction,and using geo map to transfer knowledge.On the basis of the analysis of the results of the survey,the following conclusions are drawn:the students' ability in geographical reasoning and geographical comprehensive analysis is relatively weak,mainly due to the lack of knowledge of basic knowledge and the lack of reading skills.Therefore,in the daily teaching,we should focus on the cultivation of students'correct reading skills and the use of geographical images to train students' geographical logic thinking ability.
