Mukden Female’s Survival Condition In Early China Republic

In the Early Republic of China, Chinese society is undergoing more dramatic transition period. The female gender as a half of the society, continue to progress at the same enlightened, but also exposed some problems. In this paper, "Mukden Times" published in 1912 to 1919 about female suicides for the study, explained the early Republican women’s living conditions. Early Republic, Mukden female suicide phenomenon is very serious, dramatic transformation in society and values change, family feelings and thoughts still the harbor of Mukden female, they can not get rid of tension and conflict behavior, finally culminating in family conflicts and social disputes such as the role of various factors, embarked on a suicidal path. This article’s research subjects comprise both ordinary women groups and special woman groups’ suicide phenomenon, mainly from the family and social environment both internal factors analyzed in terms of the profound reasons behind the phenomenon of Mukden female suicide feelings, and in order to get a glimpse of women’s survival of the state in the early of Republic Mukden, further attention to women’s own mental activity and self-consciousness.
