The reform and development of the national education system provided the strong system guarantee for the development of the quality education in primary and middle schools, and promoted the obvious improvement of the environment and conditions of the primary and middle school education in our country. The moral education in primary and middle school is an important part of the school education. It has some attention in the research of policy formulation and theory, but the concrete practice process and the result is not optimistic, especially the moral education in primary and middle school in the frontier areas. Because the basic role of moral education, it requires more attention and research from all levels of government departments and academia, so that improve the moral education level of primary and middle school in the minority areas, promoting the stability and harmonious development of the primary and middle school education. And analysis the main reason of trouble from the social, family, school and their factor.This paper is base on the importance and the urgent demand of the moral education in the primary and middle school in the current minority areas, selecting the multi-ethnic enclaves primary and secondary schools in shaxi town of Jianchuan county as the main research object, It mainly discusses the predicament of moral education in primary and middle school in Shaxi and look for effective way to resolve.First of all, combed the traditional moral education resources and foundation in primary schools and middle schools of Shaxi town of Jianchuan county. Second,investigation and analysis the status of the primary and middle school students in six aspects: moral cognition, moral emotion, moral will and moral behavior, the family moral education and school moral education. Again, on the basis of empirical survey data and the result analysis, from the school moral education effectiveness is low and the deviation of understanding and utilization of the traditional moral education reveals the Jianchuan shaxi the plight of moral education of primary and secondary schools. And analysis the main reason of trouble from the social, family, school and their factor. Finally, Aims at the predicament and its origin, it proposed thecorresponding optimization ideas and feasible measures, they are: strengthen the family moral education, improve school moral education, pay attention to the traditional moral education, increase education investment, strengthen the cooperation between home and school, optimize the social and moral education.This thesis is based on the theory and thinking of discipline, and it is a combination of traditional documentary research and field fieldwork. To all levels of government policy oriented small and medium-sized school moral education file, data of academic theory and the empirical research, Shaxi town of Jianchuan county the primary and secondary school moral education curriculum arrangement, the effect of its implementation, students and their parents feedback information field survey data as is the theoretical foundation of the thesis. The particularity of the moral education in the primary and middle schools in the minority areas are analyzed from the aspects of institution, society, school and family. It presents the predicament that it faces in the present moment and the influence that it may cause to the society and the individual family. It provides a microscopic case study of the plight of moral education in primary and middle school and the optimization of the route in contemporary minority areas.
