With the development of basic education in China and the implementation of quality education and appreciation education,primary and secondary education is gradually moving towards a scientific and reasonable direction.The problem of educational punishment has been increasingly concerned by people,and how to effectively implement educational punishment has also received the attention of education departments and schools at all levels.On March 1,2021,the Ministry of Education adopted and implemented the Rules on Educational Punishment for Primary and Secondary Schools(Trial).Educational punishment is no longer impossible to follow,but the rules lack detailed operating rules and teachers do not have detailed operating standards to regulate behaviors when implementing educational punishment.Therefore,the author hopes to explore whether educational punishment can play a reasonable role in class management by studying the difficulties and countermeasures in the application of educational punishment in class management,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for correct and effective applications.The main research methods of this study are literature research and investigation.By studying the difficulties and countermeasures of educational punishment in class management of primary schools,this paper discusses how teachers can reasonably and effectively exercise the power of educational punishment,so as to ensure the rights and obligations of teachers and students.First of all,we learn from literature research on educational punishment in class management at home and abroad to study the research status of educational punishment.Second,the survey method,is adopted to investigate the teachers and students of three elementary school of Zhengzhou city,a total of 750 teachers,students and some parents questionnaire investigation,and at the same time,combined with interviews and get real data,understand the present situation of the education and punishment,to organize the data and information to analysis,find education disciplinary problems that exist in the implementation of education practice.This study found that in practical education and teaching,on the one hand,vicious incidents caused by teachers' abuse of power constantly occur;On the other hand,teachers are afraid of restraining and disciplining students,so that teachers are reluctant to exercise or abuse the power of punishment and fail to stop students' mistakes in time,resulting in the disappearance of educational punishment.Finally,according to the analysis of the data obtained from the survey,the corresponding effective coping strategies are summarized,and the effective countermeasures are sorted out for the
