A Research Of The Attraction Of Academic Profession

With the development of the society, higher education has become increasingly important, the level of national higher education depends on the level of university teachers, attracting more high level talents to join this profession continuously is urgently needed. The teachers in colleges and universities stand for academic profession in this thesis, and this thesis will explore the problem of academic profession in our country from the angle of attraction, analyze the present situation of the attraction of academic profession and its influencing factors. According to the problems of academic profession in real life, the thesis proposes following research hypothesis:1. The attraction of academic profession is not high.2. The stability affects the attraction of academic profession.3. The payment affects the attraction of academic profession.4. The power affects the attraction of academic profession.5. The reputation affects the attraction of academic profession.6. The character affects the attraction of academic profession.7. The environment affects the attraction of academic profession.The research methods of this article follows the basic ideas of the empirical study: put forward the research hypothesis, carry out the investigation and interview, obtain the results of the questionnaire investigation and interview, analysis the results and propose the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures. And this deliberate uses SPSS 17.0 data analysis software to analyze the data of questionnaire, mainly analyzes two aspects of the data:frequency and percent.The results of the questionnaire and interview verified the assumptions in this paper, the conclusions are as follows:The attraction of academic profession is not high. Not only that, the stability affects the attraction of academic profession, the payment affects the attraction of academic profession, the power affects the attraction of academic profession, the reputation affects the attraction of academic profession, the character affects the attraction of academic profession, the environment affects the attraction of academic profession.Today, under the background of market economy, people always say:360 lines, line out of the top, but in all walks of life are facing a new competitive environment that is how to attract talents. The attraction of the academic profession is the main force of university reform and development of higher education, the appeal of our country’s academic profession has not been such a force, it is an indisputable fact and a problem need to be solved. Therefore, this thesis in the end put forward some relevant advices about how to improve the attraction of academic profession.
