As we all know, junior middle school stage is the elementary stage in which students learn to write an article or a composition. It is also a stage in which the issue of whether or not Chinese Teaching is successful can be examined. The composition accounts for the highest grade in examination, therefore, both teachers and students pay great attention to the composition writing. Up to now, there has been a great many experts and researchers having done some successful researches on composition writing and came up with a lot of useful ways as well as experiences, especially in the techniques of composition writing and strategies in taking examinations.However, there exists certain problems in the aspect of junior high school students’ composition writing. A number of students are lack of interests in composition writing, which is the most prominent. This thesis, based on the example of Hua Zhuang School in Hong Gu district in Lan Zhou, by means of investigation and survey, taking The Chinese Courses Standards of Compulsory education as theoretically guidance, attempts to deal with the certain problems existed in junior high students’ composition writing with the introduction of Principle of Creative Writing.This thesis consists of introduction, body-four chapters and conclusion.In the part of introduction, the issue of students’ lack of interests as well as solutions will be put forward. And then the Principle of Creative Writing as well as its significance and necessity to junior school students have been introduced. In addition, the development of this principle both at home and abroad will also be included.In the first chapter, the difference and collision between traditional teaching methodologies of composition writing and teaching methodologies of creative writing will be mainly discussed. While the traditional teaching methodologies of composition writing is examination-oriented, the teaching methodologies of creative writing emphasizes much more on self-expression.In the second chapter, from the perspective of assigning a topic, this thesis is going to show the readers the clear advantages of creative writing.In the third chapter, from the monitoring towards wring process, this thesis will draw up to a conclusion that creative writing more emphasizes the process of composition writing and further modification. In the fourth chapter, common methods of how traditional teaching methodologies dealing with a certain written product is introduced. Besides, the imperfection of these common methods will also be analyzed, thus coming to the conclusion that composition reading session and collections of written products could serve as a supplement for the current dealing ways.In conclusion, looking forward to the prospect and future of the application of creative writing. Besides, the weak points and shortcomings of this thesis is also pointed out.
