Rearch On The Current Situation Of The Higher Vocational Secretarial Personnel Training And It’s Countermeasures

Secretarial major had developed rapidly since firstly offered in 1980 in china, mainly for the service of national government departments, institutions and state-owned enterprises. In recent years, the enrollment of secretarial major is reducing because of a serious dislocation of supply and demand. It even stopped in some colleges. Now with the emerging of more and more small and medium enterprises, the secretarial professionals have a new development space, and higher professional competence and overall quality is demanded.The changes of social need lead to the changes of objectives and ways of personnel training. The theoretical basis of this paper involves systems theory, constructivist theory, and pragmatism education concept, from the perspective of education and management. The research methods used in this research conclude literature, questionnaires and comparative analysis. This paper defines the two concepts of personnel training and secretary professional, interprets and summarizes the phase and characteristics of personnel training. This paper then analyzes specifically the current situation of the supply and demand of higher vocational secretarial personnel training, of graduates’typical duty and professional competence, of students, courses, teachers and teaching materials, summarizes the problems and reasons of higher vocational secretarial personnel training, through the investigation and interview of higher vocational secretarial personnel training situation in seven vocational colleges and some employers of Hebei especially in Qinhuangdao. Some suggestions are offered in this paper, as to draw up reasonable objectives, to optimize courses, textbooks and teaching methods, to promoting training base construction, to strengthen the teaching staff, to enhance the students’ vocational quality, and to formulate and improve relevant systems.
