The rapid development of market economy provides employees with better employment prospects and more employment choices,but it also brings more employment challenges.Taking the secretarial specialty of secondary vocational school as an example,the supply and demand of secretarial professionals in the market is not balanced.On the one hand,enterprises and institutions are in urgent need of secretaries with a variety of professional abilities;On the other hand,the existing quality of secretarial professionals in secondary vocational schools can not meet the needs of employers,resulting in a lot of secondary vocational school secretarial graduates employment pressure,employment situation is not optimistic.The professional nature of the secretary determines that the graduates of the major should engage in a larger range of professional tasks,which is to the extent that the graduates in the secretarial profession are engaged in a wide range of professional tasks.Professional core competence puts forward higher requirements.Therefore,the students of secretarial major in secondary vocational school need to master the core vocational competence,so as to enhance their employment potential.However,it is not enough to cultivate the vocational core competence of secondary vocational school students only on the basis of the theoretical knowledge learned in the classroom,and it is also necessary to cultivate the students' professional core competence with the help of practical activities.As a carrier of education,student associations play a certain role in educating people.Therefore,the promotion of vocational core competence of secondary vocational school students can guide students to improve their vocational core competence in the activities with the help of student association activities.This paper first expounds the research background and significance,combs the domestic and foreign research literature on student associations and professional core competence,and summarizes the current research status of student associations and professional core competence of scholars at home and abroad.This paper analyzes the shortcomings of the current research,clarifies the research direction,and expounds and defines the related concepts at the same time.Secondly,taking the secretarial students of six secondary vocational schools in Guangxi as research samples,using literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interviewmethod and other research methods,Application of Statistical Software SPSS 24.0 to present situation of Professional Core competence of students majoring in secretarial Science in Secondary Vocational Schools,present situation of participating in Associations,and Association of Secondary Vocational Schools The present situation of construction and the influence of community activities on vocational core competence are analyzed,and the role of student associations in promoting the cultivation of students' professional core competence is discussed.Then through the analysis of the present situation,the author finds out the problems existing in the cultivation of the students' professional core competence and the causes of the problems,and puts forward some countermeasures for the students' associations to cultivate the vocational core competence of the secondary vocational school students better.Finally,the conclusions and shortcomings of this study are summarized,and the research direction and matters needing attention in the future are clarified.
