In this paper, based on the analysis of both at home and abroad about the rural school children by education and the research progress of learning to choose, on the basis of analysis of deficiencies existing in the research. And by using the theory of education choice and other related theories to build theoretical analysis framework of the selection of the rural school children to school, From the perspective of family, to demonstrate the choice of school-age children in rural areas on school site.By using the survey of Dalishu in Dandong City, Faku County in Shenyang City, Tieling Changtu County and other areas of Liaoning Province, in June to December 2014, to get the first-hand data. Based on the current status of school-age children in rural places, to research and analyze the various factors of impacting on rural school-age children in selection of school site. Then adopts the method of cross list to analyze the single factor for rural school-age children site selection, and through the analysis of single factor on the influencing factors of the selection of rural school-age children on school site to get preliminary cognition and understanding.Based on the analysis of single factor, choose the selection of whether the school-age children on school site of countryside in urban or in rural places 1 as dependent variable, and individual characteristics,family characteristics, satisfaction with school, school children’s individual characteristics as independent variables, to establish two classification logistics regression model. Statistical data and arrangement of data with SPSS software can reach the results of regression analysis. The six variables of annual household income, urban housing, spouse at present location, satisfaction with infrastructure, satisfaction with the quality of teaching, have a positive effect for rural school children on going to the town’s school, and the four variables about household register, satisfaction to school cost, satisfaction to school distance, rate of satisfaction have a negative effect.On those basis, analysis of the motivation and willingness of the choice for the study site, mainly from three sides about the objective of the gap between urban and rural basic educational resource and the influence of basic education school layout adjustment and the differences of rural family foundation education demand. Through the analysis of overview, towns have rich teaching resources, school choice to town of rural households is constantly increasing, it is n that the doubt that town school stress is too large, so getting balance on urban and rural compulsory education resources, strengthening the construction of rural school, meeting the demand of rural school-age children’s education is very important.At last, put forward several counter measures and suggestions for rural school children site selection:first get balance on urban and rural compulsory education resources, narrow the gap between urban and rural basic education school: Vigorously develop the rural economy, drive the development of rural education; Making balanced education funds investment policy to rural areas, and balanced the urban and rural basic education; Formulate unified standards of the construction of rural schools, and formulate the evaluate system of forming a complete set; Optimization of the rural teachers team construction, realize the informatization of rural education.Second making the reasonable layout of basic education school and meeting the demand of school children; Clear the government responsibility, making the layout adjustment scheme reasonable. Expand the channels of expressing, formulate perfect evaluation system; Strengthen school management, improve teaching quality. Third, Improve rural school-age children’s condition of education in different site condition:reduce urban schools’toll reasonably, and making a flexible policy of toll; Establish a perfect school children registration system; Make the rural schools good, and exert its local cultural characteristics.
