Our graduates have more than half of the graduates of higher vocational colleges, therefore, how to increase the employment rate of graduates, how to improve the quality of employment of graduates of higher vocational colleges, is not only related to the survival, more is the premise to ensure the prosperity and stability of social development. Therefore, in order to improve the employment, employment guidance system to produce scientific, professional in Colleges and universities, vocational colleges like bamboo shoots after a spring rain, despite the existence of a variety of defects or problems, but this system is worthy of being applied.This paper from the vocational college students methods and ways to improve their employment competence as the breakthrough point, makes research on the related problems of employment management in higher vocational colleges such as Yingtan Vocational and Technical College, summed up the current higher vocational colleges in employment guidance problems, namely the lack of self cognition, employment consciousness, lack of hard-working spirit, professional knowledge of employment competitiveness stand on one’s own, lack of awareness and issues such as the poor frustration tolerance.This paper from the vocational college students methods and ways to improve their employment competence as the breakthrough point, makes research on the related problems of employment management in higher vocational colleges such as Yingtan Vocational and Technical College, summed up the current higher vocational colleges in employment guidance problems, namely the lack of self cognition, employment consciousness, lack of hard-working spirit, professional knowledge of employment competitiveness stand on one’s own, lack of awareness and issues such as the poor frustration tolerance.The main problems is the lack of a comprehensive understanding of employment management, employment guidance work of the connotation of the employment guidance mechanism is not perfect, employment guidance, employment guidance team construction is weak and poor timeliness, lack of pertinence and effectiveness of employment guidance, the lack of targeted research, the lack of employment information and feedback, entrepreneurship education is relatively backward, in view of the special group counseling is not enough and the creation of personalized employment guidance course has strong randomness. The main reason of the problem is a problem is to adapt to market strategy. Education is the main mode of existence deviation, schools lack of stereotype and curriculum setting characteristics. In the supporting system of employment management problems. The higher occupation education is mainly reflected in the laws and regulations are not perfect, the higher vocational education is not sufficient funds and public awareness of the serious deviation of Higher Vocational education.Finally put forward the countermeasures to enhance the university employment management based on competency theory. Mainly includes: one is to change the concept of employment management. Mainly includes the changed from management to service, adhere to the "student oriented", take the market demand as the guidance, the establishment of training system, employment service system and strengthen the construction of information systems, to achieve employment information sharing. The two is to strengthen the reform and innovation of management system of employment in higher vocational colleges, enhance the quality of employment. Mainly includes: strengthening the construction of professional curriculum, enhance the quality of employment, from the aspects of establishing the cooperation platform for practice, provide convenience for students’ employment. The three is to strengthen the employment guidance education mainly includes:guide the students to form the correct employment values, strengthen employment guidance theory and practice of education to strengthen the employment guidance education.
