The scale of higher education will continue to be enlarged to meet the needs of the social development in our country.In this process,the focus will be put on higher vocational education.In The Suggestion of Implementing the State Council's Decision about Speeding up the Development of Higher Vocational Education,Gansu Municipal People's Government required that some general colleges should be transformed into vocational colleges under the guidance of the government.At the same time,vocational colleges must be guided by the market need,with the aim of training skilled professionals.With the increasing of the number of higher vocational colleges and graduates,the employment pressure to vocational colleges graduates is also increased gradually.It is very important for graduates to think about how to prepare for the employment and how to make their choices in job hunting so that they can defuse the pressures of employment.Based on a survey on the employment intention of the students in L Vocational Technical College,the author of the paper conducts a detailed statistical investigation on the current employment situation of graduates through data collection and interview and investigation.In the research,the author finds out that the conception of vocational college students to their future work is not clear.The graduates only have a very ambiguous conception of what they want to do and do not know how to make their choices.At the same time,most of them were greatly influenced by their parents' will and always followed their parents' choices in job hunting.The paper gives some advice on how to guide graduates to find jobs they like and suitable for themselves.
