The Research Of Present Situation And Systems Of The Class Advisers’ Team Construction In Colleges

A college class adviser is a good teacher who has overall responsibility for the students’learning, psychology, life and thought. Moreover, he or she is also a leader, an organizer, an coordinator of class. A college class adviser is a tutor or guide to the healthy development of students and an adviser who is one of significant force in college students’ the ideological and political education work. Thus, class advisers play a prominent and positive role in university students’ healthy growth and all-round development of the college student. The college class adviser system has a direct relation to the effectiveness of the class-advisers’ work, student’s growth and college’s harmonious and stable and healthy development. The rapid advance of the popularization of higher education and the deepening reform of higher education have a deep influence on the college students which makes ideological education work of colleges challenging and the college class-adviser becomes more and more obvious. Therefore, it’s necessary to conscientiously sum up the experiences of college class adviser construction and analyzing and exploring the present situation of the college class adviser and making some positive suggestions about promoting the overall level of class advisers’ work.Firstly, this thesis expounds the great significance of college class advisers’ team construction from three parts:the first part is the important guarantee of the ideological and political education; the second one is the objective requirement of college teachers’ development; last part is the implementation of high moral values establishment and people cultivation as the fundamental task of education. Then this thesis has carried on the thorough analysis about the present situation of the class advisers’ team construction in colleges. On the one hand, the achievements are that the team of college class advisers is built up and it plays a positive role in college students’ ideological and political education, and also creates a great deal of experience. On the other hand, there exist a lot of problems as follows:poor awareness of importance on team construction; insufficiency quantity and unreasonable structure of the class advisers; no clear responsibility and lower management level; poor performance; and some problems on the present system of selection process, employment, training and assessment of class advisers. Finally, the suggestions about how to promote the general level of the work of the college class advisers are divided into five parts:increase awareness and value the building of class adviser team; do the work well which selects the class advisers and improves the quality of class advisers; definite the duties and roles of the college class advisers and complete working system of the college class advisers; establish the rules and improve working efficiency of the college class advisers; build varieties of systems of the college class adviser team and so on.
