A college class-adviser is an adviser who has overall responsibility for the students’learning, life, thought, and health. Moreover, he or she is also an organizer, leader and educator. Thus, he or she plays an irreplaceable role in the process of college student’s growth and development. The college class-adviser system has a direct relation to the effectiveness of the class-advisers’ work. This study of the college class-adviser system will have a great significant for the collegers’growth and development, under the new period and new condition, and facing the new features of students in the college as well as new the problems and situations occurred in the process of class management.This thesis can be divided into five parts concerning issue of the college class-adviser, this study, by combination of the statistical tables and charts of the questionnaires data analysis can be divided into five parts:the first part is introduction, which displays the significance, the (difficulty) the innovations, the previous research both at home and abroad as well as the research method of the study; chapter one explains what class-adviser and class-adviser system is, and highlights the significance of college class-adviser system construction from the four necessities:the rapidly expanding of student-teacher ratio, the cultivation of the collegers of the socialism core values, the strength of the collegers’ ideological and political education and the role of college class-adviser; chapter two probe into the relationship between the class organization construction, the class culture construction, the students’psychological health education and the ideological and political education respectively with the study of the college class-adviser system under the perspective of ideological and political education; chapter three analyzes the current college class-adviser system state including the achievements and the remained shortages in the following five aspects:the force of college class-advisers’equipment, the level of college class-adviser’s management, the quantity of college class-advisers, college class-advisers’assessment and incentive mechanism, and class-advisers’treatment; chapter four elaborates how to perfect the college class-adviser system from the perspective of the system of class-adviser selection and the college class-adviser training, the communication skills of college class-adviser, the assessment and incentive mechanism of college class-adviser as well as the treatment to the college class-adviser.
