Practice the socialist core values, and comprehensively promote the rule of law strategy,which requires the improvement of the citizen of our country democratic accomplishment and the development of quality education to promote the all-round development of student. However, the current situation of China’s democratic literacy of senior high school students far can not adapt to the requirements.Therefore, it is extremely urgent to analyze and study the democratic literacy of high school students and to put forward solutions according to the existing problems.In this regard, the author carried out research.Full text is divided into three parts:In the first part,the paper gives a definition for the democratic quality of high school students.Democratic literacy mainly includes three aspects:democratic knowledge, attitude and behavior ability of democracy. High school students as a special a group in the field, their democratic quality should be compatible with their status and future development. So for high school students, democratic knowledge mainly includes the democratic theory and democratic system of knowledge; In the aspect of democratic attitude, this is tolerant attitude, critical attitude and the attitude of compromise. In terms of democratic behavior ability, this is to develop high expression ability, communication ability organization and coordination ability.In the second part, this paper analyzes the current situation of democratic literacy of high school students, the existing problems and their causes.From an overall point of view, high school students overall quality of democratic knowledge is low; Democratic attitude and democratic behavior is not consistent;Democratic behavior ability is insufficient.the main reason for this situation:First, high school students’ democratic literacy training is not enough attention; Second, the campus life is not strong democratic color; Third, high school students to participate in the democratic practice is less.In the third part, the paper puts forward some corresponding strategies on how to improve the democratic quality of senior high school students.The first is to improve the recognition of the importance of cultivating high school students democratic literacy; The second is to strengthen the ideological and Political Course in the importance of democratic literacy training; The third is to construct campus life of democratization.
