Physics is not an easy-learned subject for most students, especially from non-A level leading high schools. The possible reasons may be related to the physics itself and/or to traditional teaching strategy,Many physics teachers are looking for teaching methods which may have breakthrough in essential and difficult points of teaching By reading large number of references and according to teaching practices, in this thesis we try to generalize a kind of operability and practicability teaching method. That is to train students’ ability of physical modeling when we are teaching physic in high schools.To this end, we analyze the characteristic way of thinking of the high school students. We note that it can not be ignored to train and improve the ability of imagery thinking when we are training students’ abstract thinking in physics teaching. This is because such ability of the imagery thinking may affect the ability of physical modeling directly,In addition, we also compare with physics textbooks for high school students,and studies of the theory of physical modeling between China and America.We find that there are more contents in American physics textbooks which is more beneficial to training of the ability of modeling. We also note that the theory of model teaching is more systematical and is executed better. This is worthwhile learning for us.We then give some examples about theory evidence of physical modeling, the concept of physical modeling and the importance and function of the training of ability of physical modeling.Then there is the modeling of practical ability cultivation, Before practice, first carries on the questionnaire survey to the current situation of students’ physical modeling ability, Based on the analysis according to the questionnaire of reflecting the students’ situation can training target to the modeling ability of the students.This article recommended the comprehensive training of students modeling ability of using four different approaches, the first approach is to cultivate modeling ability through the teaching of new lessons, teachers should teach model of the materials involved in the new course in deeply and detailed explanation,in order to enable students to understand the whole process of modeling, the experience of modeling from the implication in the teaching material. The second is through the exercises to raise modeling ability, To illustrate a more complex physicsproblem is how to slowly evolve through a simple physical model, That is an important role to help students experience modeling ability in problem solving.The third is to develop the modeling ability of students by experiment, This part describes the creation of an important role through the experiment situation on students modeling ability cultivation, and the importance of experimental corroboration through actual examples.The fourth point, which is also an innovation of this article,culture is modeled by the training of thinking ability, points out the importance of students’ thinking in images of physical modeling, and thinking in images can be improved by many methods, this article summed up the training method of four strong operational training methods, examples of such methods can be applied, and through the practice proves the effectiveness of these methods. Finally, based on analyzing the modeling ability of students on the test results, obtained that it is feasible to cultivate students modeling ability, effectiveness, and the important significance of Physics Teaching in senior high school.
