With the development of basic education curriculum reform, educational technologyability has turned into professional capacity for teachers. Modern educational technologyrequired of teachers in the new age. Various teaching colleges have opened the public course:Modern Education Technology and it aimed at developing students’ technical knowledge andability. The importance of that is day by day prominent.At present, Normal Universities in China almost opened Modern Education Technology.There are many problems on the correlation of teaching of school subjects, on practicalteaching, on courses offered and so on. Ministry of Education issued “EducationalTechnology Ability Standards for Elementary and middle schools Teachers”(CETS) on Dec.25,2004. Although CETS has been issued, how to integrate it into Modern EducationTechnology effectively still needs further study. The most of students only acquired creditsrather than knowledge and ability from Modern education Technology. Stereotyped teachingmodel is not adequate to the teaching demands of Modern Education Technology. As a result,a look into the reform of its’ teaching method is necessary. The blended learning blends theadvantages of E-learning and C-learning, which provided a new idea and method. The corethought of blended learning is using different methods to solve according to differentproblems and different requirements. Education Ministry initiated the establishment projectsof New Century On-line Courses, which made every college to develop network courses.With every college carried on significant science and technology research projects, manynetwork courses of Modern Educational Technology were born. Those network coursesprovide highly advantageous condition for the using of blended learning.This study is about the effective application of blended learning in the teaching ofcurriculum of Modern Educational Technology. This study takes case research as its mainresearch method, and comprehensively uses the documentary information and questionnaire.Try to answer: How to solve the teaching problems of Curriculum of Modern EducationalTechnology? How to apply effectively blended learning model to teach the common courses?Finally, the study will build a blended learning pattern catering to the curriculum reform andthe development of our institute.The study includes four stages. The first stage is Relevant Literature Analysis andrequirement researching. The second stage is analysis of typical cases. The third stage: wewill draw on the successful experience of those typical cases and build an effective blendedlearning pattern. The last but not least, there are applying consideration.
