Any one ideology has full of strong vitality because it can grasp the pulse of the times, as a reflecting themes, addressing the ideological and social development education educational objective contradiction between the needs of mainstream ideology, never stay in a horizontal plane, and going with the tide of times development moves forward. Application of media technology, the rapid development of the new vary media, students became a largest group of users. For them, the new media is not just a tool to obtain information, but also is more important to the space of real life. Any kind of ideological education activities must be carried out in a certain environment, mainstream ideology education of college students is particularly urgent and important are no in education research in the new media environment.Articles is divided into four parts, In the first chapter, as a starting point of logic and theoretical foundation, to explain the concepts in this chapter, and it’s combines the characteristics of new media, as an explanation for new mainstream ideology education of college students, as well as new media’s impact on students ’ learning, living and thought.The two aspect on ideology education for college students of new media. The emergence of new media, a broad and deep impact on college students, to break the bottleneck of traditional mainstream ideology education becomes it is a reality, new media on the mainstream ideology, however what about education? In response to this problem, respectively, from the three aspects of the analysis in this chapter. First, the combination of psychological characteristics of college students of new media, improve the mainstream ideology of the age, secondly, fit new media learning feature to help improve mainstream ideology education of college students.finally, new media adapt to the characteristics of contemporary education, to improve the efficiency of mainstream ideology education of college students. The in-depth discussion of this issue will enable new media and ideology education of college students fit their consciousness, the using effectiveness new media, and improve the ideological and political education, targeted, scientific, mainstreaming effect of ideological education for college students to provide protection.The third chapter presents the principle of ideology education of college students in the new media environment.
