W·A·Suhomlinsky(1918-1970) is a famous former Soviet education theorists and education practitioner. In the long-term education practice, he gradually formed a set of their own education thought system. He is the exploits of the republic of Ukraine teachers before his death and the former Soviet union education communication academician of academy of sciences, has won two pieces of the order of Lenin.His education thoughts, moral education in the core position and has a larger influence, Suhomlinsky of the moral education theory also has the important status in the history of education theory. Therefore, the author hopes that by the formation and development of their moral education thoughts, main contents and characteristics, on the basis of this light its impact on China’s moral education thought.This paper first analyzes the W·A·Suhomlinsky development course of moral education thought. Papers from his personal life experience, social background, theory and practice foundation four aspects analyses W·A·Suhomlinsky formation of moral education thought. Its formation process can be roughly divided into bud, formation and maturation of three phases, formed in the long-term education practice and education theory to explore the abundant moral education ideas.Second, the W·A·Suhomlinsky of the main content of moral education thoughts and characteristics are analyzed. W·A·Suhomlinsky of the main contents of moral education has its quality education, moral education, and family virtue education, in the practice of the education of cultivating the students’ ability of self education, teachers should play the role of model demonstration, organization and arrangement of ideological and moral education curriculum, strengthening students’ moral practice, pay attention to the role of collective education, showed a distinct political moral education thought, attaches great importance to the individual moral education and social moral education, attaches great importance to the moral education practice in the process of students’ development, highlight the emotional characteristics of the function of moral education.Finally, W·A·Suhomlinsky moral education thoughts in China’s influence has carried on the deep discussion. W·A·Suhomlinsky moral education thought in the core position in his education thought, played an important role in the education teaching practice, has important influence. As W·A·Suhomlinsky the spread of education thoughts in China, his moral education thought is more widely spread in China, especially an important influences on the quality of Chinese education and enlightenment function.
