| Game is a special form of human activity. It’s so interesting and competitive for middle school students as to attract them much. Using game method in physical education can stimulate students’ interest in learning and improve their learning enthusiasm and initiative, but also can make the students in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere to take exercise and play an important role in the improvement of teaching quality of physical education.Taking part of middle schools in Suzhou Industrial Park as the investigation object, this article researches the application of physical games in happy physical teaching with the method of documents, questionnaire, mathematical statistics, logic analysis, etc. The following conclusions can be gotten:1. Physical education teachers of the middle schools in Suzhou Industrial Park has certain knowledge and understanding about happy physical teaching and the characteristics, nature, forms of physical games. However, some of them cannot get a comprehensive understanding. Most teachers tend to implement and use physical games teaching methods in their physical education. Middle school students in Suzhou Industrial Park have certain understanding of physical education and physical games, most of whom have an enthusiastic attitude for them. However, some students have certain differences in understanding.2. Physical games playa certain positive role in physical teaching, and affect too much the teaching target, teaching quality, teaching effect, student development, etc. For applying physical games to teaching, teachers mainly focus on preparation activities, physical quality, coding-down exercise and the basic technical skills teaching; For the time spending in once class, two-thirds of the teachers arrange 5-10 minutes, while a third of them 10-20 minutes. Students prefer such physical games as running and interesting ones; Teachers in teaching mainly apply the interesting games, but their methods and means are too simple.3. The application of physical games in teaching can greatly promote students’ physical and mental health development. Through the physical games teaching, most of the students think their physical quality and physical health have been improved, which can effectively regulate and improve their emotions, and cultivate good social skills, team spirit and good social adaptation ability.4. The main factors, which affect the application of physical games in the middle school physical teaching in Suzhou Industrial Park, include the lack of physical game teaching materials and resources, the lack of education and improvement on the related physical games, the less kinds of sport games that can be grasped and used, the lack of physical game equipment, the lack of opportunity to view outstanding physical games teaching classes, the reasonable application of physical games teaching methods, and the selection of sports game categories, projects, and content. Development and application of sports games in the teaching of teachers proportion is relatively small. |
