Sports games added in physical education can arouse students’ enthusiasm,improve their physical quality,but also stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning new things,and cultivate students’ innovation ability and performance ability.However,in the current development of junior high school physical education,the status and role of sports games is still a blind spot in the field of research.The development of sports games not only has higher requirements for school teachers,but also has certain requirements for students.Therefore,in order to better explore this problem,based on the previous scholars’ research in the field of sports games,this paper extensively reads literature to explore a reasonable theoretical basis,and makes practical observation and analysis on the physical education teaching of junior middle schools in Fuping County,so as to clarify the current development status of sports games in teaching,existing problems and how to innovate in the future.Research methods: This study adopts several methods to carry out research.Firstly,it collects required literature by literature analysis,and prepares appropriate questionnaires for the research subjects to fill out based on the existing theoretical basis and research.Then,it obtains the results through interviews according to the unmeasurable problems in the questionnaires,and finally analyzes the results by mathematical statistics and logical analysis.This paper takes the application status of sports games in the physical education teaching of junior middle school in Fuping County as the research object.According to the requirements,40 PE teachers from 10 junior middle schools of Fuping County Experimental Middle School,Fuping County Middle School,Fuping County Jingshan School,Fuping County Lianhu Junior Middle School,Fuping Huazhu Junior Middle School,Fuping County Laomiao Junior Middle School,Fuping County Liuqu Town Junior Middle School,Fuping County Meijiaping Junior Middle School,Fuping County Zhuangli Junior Middle School and Fuping County Liuji Town Junior Middle School were selected.550 students were surveyed.Research conclusion:1.On the whole,students have a good cognition of sports games,but there are still some students who do not care about sports games,and some even have negative emotions.Although the proportion is not large,it is also an important part in the process of carrying out sports games in the classroom.2.Most physical education teachers in Fuping County junior high school believe that physical education games play an important role in physical education teaching.However,in the actual teaching,there will still be low frequency and degree of use.However,physical education teachers tend to be younger,which shows that the application of physical education games in Fuping County junior high school has great room for development and progress in the aspects of concept change,innovation,creation,teaching organization and so on.3.Most PE teachers do not give corresponding evaluation after the end of sports games,and do not timely analyze the results of sports games,which will affect students’ cognition of sports games,but also reduce students’ enthusiasm for sports games and the educational nature of sports games.4,Fuping County junior high school leaders do not pay attention to physical education,which affects the application of sports games,thus affecting the effective improvement of students’ physical quality.The simple venue,the lack of equipment and so on have become the factors restricting the full application of sports games.
