To understand how middle school students’ general self-efficacy, physical self-concept and the relations between and among physical exercise behavior, this study from the suzhou industrial park, xinghai middle school sample of 784 middle school students as subjects, using the literature material law, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and logical analysis, general self-efficacy for middle school students, and physical self-concept and exercise behavior, discusses the relationship between the research aims to further understand self-efficacy, physical self-concept on the potential value of the middle school students’ physical exercise behavior and better to guide students to take part in physical exercise, rich in the process of physical education teachers in education practice, the method provides a basis to solve the problem.The results of the study are as follows:1.Middle school students in choosing exercises, prefer to exercise with classmates and friends.2.About the exercise frequency, there are 13.2% students exercise frequency can reach or close to about once a day; 25.7% of students exercise frequency can reach 3 to 5 times a week; 43% of students exercise frequency per week 1 to 2 times per week; And 18.1% of middle school students exercise period is a month cycle.3.On time, there are 50.2% of the students taking part in physical exercise every time in more than 30 minutes, 49.8% students participate in exercise time under 30 minutes at a time.4.About exercise intensity, medium or medium strength more middle school students have 53%, cannot achieve the medium or medium strength more than 47% of high school students.5.On the choice of middle school students in sports has obvious gender characteristics: boys prefer confrontational sports exercise program, such as basketball, soccer, tennis, etc.; Girls are more inclined to choose confrontational weaker physical exercise programs, such as walking, aerobics, etc.6.High school boys and girls physical exercise behavior that there was a significant difference between the different grade of middle school students there are significant differences between exercise behavior. In the junior middle school stage, the students’ physical exercise behavior with the rising of grade is reduced, in high school students’ physical self-concept as the grade rises, third grade students’ physical exercise had the lowest levels.7.Most of the students’ general self-efficacy at higher levels, general self-efficacy of boys and girls that there was a significant difference between the different grade of middle school students in general self-efficacy that there was a significant difference between the first grade students with grade 11 students’ general self-efficacy was slightly higher than other grade, third grade students’ general self-efficacy.8.High school boys and girls body self-concept that there was a significant difference between the different grade of middle school students there are significant differences between physical self-concept. In the junior middle school stage, the students’ physical self-concept with the rising of grade is reduced, in high school students’ physical self-concept as the grade rises, the lowest third grade students’ physical self-concept.9.Middle school students’ general self-efficacy, physical self-concept and exercise behavior exist significant correlation between physical self-concept between general self-efficacy and exercise behavior has partial mediating effect.
