According to the statistics of 《China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Report (1978-2003)》 for the first half of 2006,57.8% of the master’s supervisor and 52.7% of people in charge of graduates school hold that the quality of graduate education has declined. As the highest level of education of graduate education, teaching students to know how really to learn is foundation, as well as a key task of basic education. Therefore, as a graduate, we should keep abreast with the development requirements of the times, to re-examine by ourselves, to start from the basic learning, to strengthen our own learning management, so as to gradually improve the quality of graduate education.This study, through the method of related literature documents, this article made a comb and reviewed, and through the investigation method of students self-learning, supervisor’s management, curriculum design, teaching management and school culture to investigate. According to the survey by the results of the data analysis for the current status of our learning management of postgraduates. and the research on the different grades and different disciplines of graduate learning management through comparative analysis, some problems are found in management of graduates for students learning. The basic conclusions of this study are:first, the subjective purpose of the master of their own learning management is not high and clear, but with obvious utilitarian aim; lack of initiative and the enthusiasm as well as awareness of self learning management; second, general satisfaction rate of evaluation for tutors mentoring, less frequency of academic and personal communication between teachers and students; third, the curriculum of for graduate students is arranged accordingly that elective mechanism is not flexible, course contents can not be updated in time; fourth, assessment mechanism for graduate education quality is to be improved, training methods and requirements should be updated; fifth, low cultural concern and participation in school activities due to low cultural and academic identificationTo solve the problems, this researcher bases on the theory of management by objectives, and proposes a corresponding five suggestions to improve the management of graduates:first, to strengthen the guidance of self-regulated learning management, to develop students proper motivation for self learning; second, to optimize supervisor’s management, standardized student autonomous learning management; third, improve school teaching curriculum and inspire students intrinsic motivation for learning; fourth, to improve the quality of teaching management, and promote students’ self-regulated learning programs; fifth, to regain the value connotation of school culture, to create a harmonious learning environment of students.
