There has been an insurmountable gap, seriously affecting the quality of basic education, For a long time, the junior and senior high school geography education are independent of each other, communicate poorly. Regional geography as an extremely important part in Junior and high school geography education, there is a clear disconnect phenomenon. With the development of the new curriculum reform in Guangxi, the majority of teachers began to focus on the connection between regional geographic content in junior and senior high school, and propose some effective strategies by summarizing their teaching experience. The author attempts through the survey on the students’ regional geography learning status in Guilin and on the teachers’ regional geography teaching situation to find the problems of the connection between regional geographic content in junior and senior high school, through comparing the differences and analyzing the relations on the content of Geography Curriculum Standards and textbooks of HEP between compulsory education and general high-school education to explore the strategy on the connection between regional geographic content in junior and senior high school of HEP, from two aspects of theory and practice.Firstly, This paper used the literature analysis method, on the basis of consulting a large number of literature, sums up research results about the geographical problems of the connection at home and abroad, defines the concept of connectional education, junior and senior high regional geography, identifies the systems theory, structuralism teaching theory, Piaget’s theory of cognitive development stage and other related education psychology theory and geography teaching theory as the theoretical basis of this study.Secondly, This paper carries on the investigation to the students of regional geography connection status used questionnaire survey through "high student regional geographic learning situation questionnaire "from different aspects such as the junior high school curriculum, learning interest, learning methods, connectional consciousness, and the degree of master the basic knowledge of regional geography, finds out the students’study problems in regional geography mainly in the short of regional geography knowledge reserves and the lack of interpreting the images etc. This paper carries on the investigation to the geography teachers through "the present situation of the regional geography teaching high school geography teachers questionnaire" from different aspects such as the basic background of middle school geography teachers, connectional consciousness, knowledge system and teaching method, finds out the teachers’problems mainly in the miscommunication of the junior and senior high school geography teachers, the lack of regional geography overall knowledge system, the disconnection of teaching method, junior high school geography teachers’ professional quality needs to improve and so on.Thirdly, this paper using comparative analysis, through the comparison about regional geography overall framework of junior and senior high school geography curriculum standards and about specific content requirements taking the population for example, reveals that:the junior and senior high school regional geography is both different and contact in the content, the knowledge continuity is strong, level differences are significant, and the requirement of senior high school geographical thinking ability has improved significantly. By comparing about the textbooks overall and specific between regional geographic content (taking the city for example) in junior and senior high school of HEP,I find out that after new curriculum the content of junior and senior high school geography textbook of HEP contact enhanced, and the theoreticalness of senior high school textbook is enhanced. Thus sum up the connection of regional geography content focuses on changing the teaching ideas, knowledge system, ability to interpret images and regional learning methods.Finally, this paper proposes the strategy on the connection between regional geographic content in junior and senior high school of HEP,reaches a conclusion by a lesson connectional analysis. Middle school geography teachers should establish a correct concept of connection, build knowledge system based curriculum standards, construct a trinity knowledge connectional model of curriculum standards, textbooks, learning situation, analyze students’ psychology of interpreting images, guide students to use the correct method in image to develop students’ good habits of interpreting blueprints,to bring up reading ability of interpreting blueprints, help students build space concept, master regional geography case study learning and contrast analysis of learning to achieve middle school regional geography learning effective connection. |
